Play Art

"Because playgrounds are under-recognized as an artistic medium." In playgrounds as in other mediums, new forms and ideas often come from the art world, where an increasing number of artists and designers are utilizing playground forms in their work.

Come play on installations by the Boston Children’s Museum and the Museum of Science, as well as rising design stars such as IK Studio, Virginia Melnyk and helloeverything, along with works by San Francisco-based Rebar Group, one of the pioneers in the field of creative play.   I’ll be there, so if you see me, do say hello!
